Use the scatterplot dialog box to choose what your scatterplot will look like.  To open the 
scatterplot dialog box, type Alt+G and S in the SPSS data editor.  In the dialog box, use 
the Tab and cursor keys to navigate.  When you have selected the scatterplot you want, type 
Tab until the "Define" button is selected, then type Enter.
